Rat snake
the reason for his name is that they eat rats, they bite but they are not poisonous, as the guy was handling this particular snake bit him twice i might add he was really feisty and the fear of snakes that i have came rushing back but once again amazing.
Rainbow snake
So called because when you put it in the sun the skin takes on a rainbow effect, not poisonous. This snake is from South America
King Cobra
The King Cobra: Not much of a show off for the camera but what you can see is that colouring again, this is also poisonous, once again if you come into contact with this snake stand still and let it pass. This snake is from South America
The puff Adder: this is highly poisonous, the colouring on this snake is amazing. It will not attack you if you leave it alone. This snake is from Zimbabwe
A Fish
Not to sure on what type of fish this is, but none the less he was really happy in his own fish bowl not having to share a thing with anyone else.
Wall spider
This is a common wall spider in Zimbabwe, yes in our house, with this spider he must have been having a bad day or some thing as he tried to attack everything that went past him or in front of him including my camera
Male Lion
With this lion I found something unique, he was sniffing a bunch of leaves and this is the face that he was doing and this carried on for about 15 to 20 min

Vine Snake
I do stand to be corrected on this snake as i am not sure what type of snake this is............but will update as and when I get more information on this snake.
Spitting Cobra
This snake was getting really angry as we stood there and watched him lose his temper...........The are one of the most poisonous snakes, here in Zimbabwe at this time there is no anti venom
African Bull Frog
The African Bull Frog is one of the bull frogs that we have here i Zim that when they bite they do poison you.

This snake did not play the day I was there one of the lazy ones but it does lighten up a little more later on
A Black Scorpion
I found this little fellow in the garden under the rocks near the pool, not sure what typr it is but it doesn't look to friendly.
A pug
This is one of my new additions to the family, I call him my miniature Grandpa, he has so much character.
Brown House Snake
This snake was found in side one of the rooms, with my fear of them I would rather take the picture than hold him, knowing that he is harmless really didn't help the fact that he was still a snake. But i did touch him and his body was really cold......
Baby Crocodile
Standing on the edge of lake Kariba just out Chewore I saw this little crocodile right by the edge of the lake and how close I was to it was the most thrilling experience I have ever had. It popped up and down and to catch this on the camera was a good thing.
